Users that depend on automatic 'bind to armature' to do all their rigging may want this version, as it has drastically different skinning algorithms, both regular rigged mesh and convert to fitmesh. Users that weight paint manually will see the buttons layout and workflow has changed for more accurate work with less panel switching, a big timesaver.

Also, the machinimatrix devs recommend you use the latest official Blender, as they use RC builds to work on their add-ons. They like to make sure when a Blender goes from RC to official, the add-on will work. Blender has made some big API changes lately, and older versions with their documented buglist can cause issues if any mesher is doing serious work.
