I got curious so I actually tried to determine what sort of virus the RAR archive file contains. It turns out to be a rather nasty Trojan virus...
Trojan:Win32/Spursint.T!cl

This threat can do one or all of the following:
• Download and install other malware.
• Use your computer for click-fraud.
• Record your keystrokes and the sites you visit.
• Send information about your PC, including usernames and browsing history, to a remote malicious hacker.
• Give a remote malicious hacker access to your PC.

So now I have to decide if having this tool is worth letting this virus loose on my machine. OR maybe some goonie out there has the skills to remove it from the RAR file. Anyone, anyone, Beuhler?

Everyone kept telling me this was a "false positive" and it sort of seems legit, so I dug out an old laptop I didn't really care about and kept fooling around with the two Windows apps that were refusing to let me download the file. I finally got it downloaded and extracted from the RAR file. SURPRISE, no virus or trojan (so far anyway).
Now I just need to figure out how to use it. There are lots of little bits and pieces on how it works and how to use it spread out across the Goon Squad forums. I just need to copy it all into a nice text file so I can quickly find me references. If anything goes sideways, I will try to post it here.

The original tool was posted in another forum, and his name is MeshesSL.
Someone has copied from that forum and posted it here, after modifying it by adding or removing something.
I use MeshesSL for two years and I never had problems. the latest version posted on that forum is compatible Bento.

I waould also like a link to the original. Also i am having a weird issue. When i open the software i try to browse for my texture folder but cannot find it anywhere. I can open it via darkstorm but for some reason when i try to fallow the path i cannot get past the users point. Nothing appears to be where it should. Would uninstalling Darkstorm and reinstalling it  help?

I have a strange problem.
After having used the program various times - and with great results! - it has disappeared from my pc. Don't ask please.... I feel like an ass!
Now on trying to install it again, the exe disappears right after unpacking.
Can anyone of you smart goonies give me a helping hand before I go completely gaga here?
Thanks ever so much!

First, huge Thank you to everyone who made this possible! I am trying it with Demo rigged mesh, (removing the Demo part) but get a pop-up preventing me from doing so when I try to 'show textures' to remove the Demo part...I don't see anything about this on this thread, has anyone else run into this problem? TY again :D

it's been cleaned the best we could clean it but who knows what may still be in it. Use  at your own risk, and enjoy.
.

It is very sad that you are leaving. I have watched your tutorials and love them on youtube.  Is there someway to get the sl avatar models that you offered for blender that have the weight paints on them for rigging our mesh clothing?

This was such an awesome share, Thanks so much!
