Not really good at writing fancy introductory words but hope to contribute something useful later.

That's perfectly fine, defm87 and welcome.
In the future we'll have more ways to share and gain rep. Right now the only way is to stick it out and make threads. Don't get discouraged if you don't have anything to say. A simple thank you to your brothers and sisters when you want to try out their stuff. And a small description for when you're posting something to share. That is completely reasonable. I hope to see more of you.
