who was/is deep, deep, deep, DEEP in SL from the very beginning. Anyway, I'll spare you the details of all of our problems, but suffice to say that there ended up being a connecting thread back to SL from not all but many of the nodes on the poison starfruit which was our on-and-off ~30yr relationship starting from ages 17 and 15. Obviously, back then there WAS no SL, and I don't mean to imply that SL is in any way central to our story - let's just say it ended up being an interesting *amplifier* of long-established patterns.
I swear I'm over it, really, I totally am.
Occaisionally (it's been a couple of years since last) I drop in and say hi. .. 1/3 to say hi, 1/3 to check out where the state of the art is with this stuff (where's the GearVR viewer?!?! I might actually play if there was one..!), find and install the fanciest rendering/shading viewer (still Black Dragon it would seem?) .. AND ... I like to find a copybot viewer and whatever other exploits are current because A) I won't spend a thin dime on SL, sorry. Farmville either. Never fond of Magic the Gathering (are you detecting a theme?), and B. my ex thinks that the powers of detection/banning and overall GODlike omniscence of Linden Labs is... well, let's just say it's fun to show up and subvert shit and be wearing and inventory stuffed with shit she knows I'd never buy at gunpoint.
I really have no intention of being an active member of this community, sorry. Just looking for a viewer and if theres a paywall for the good one then I'm looking for version numbers and naming conventions to find it elsewhere. Sorry again, just being honest.
