Linkset does not show up in FS viewer ?

I saved some hair in DS as XML and was able to download it again - if I use DS or Firestorm Pro, I can see it and it looks great, but it does not rez in regular Firestorm viewer. is there a fix for this? Not sure if I have a setting wrong or something....
