I come here to ask if anyone knows if the Hydrastorm viewer was blocked by Linden Lab, because since yesterday I can't get into the game anymore, not that I don't get to log in, it even does, but when it finishes loading the world, the avatar doesn't appear in the world.
I'll leave the image for you to see better, it gets stuck and doesn't leave that screen.

Following this thread, because I also have a similar issue. I even tried turning off the antivirus, but it didn't seem to do anything.

Have you tried updating SL viewer? I tried to open SL yesterday and it forced me to update and My firestrom didn't work until I did the update on SL, pretty weird but try that.

they talking about the cbv, did you use also Hydrastorm? and had this problem? the sl viewer works for all what i read

Yes I had the same issue with logging in a while back and was because my laptop updated to Windows 11.  I too had to search an found out was because I was technically not an Admin.
I can no longer use my paint shop pro 9 either .. but did get Hydra working again.

i encountered exactly that issue right now. version 6.4.23 (64823). this thread is old, but somehow the issue came back

i found the root cause, in the file \AppData\Roaming\Firestorm_x64\user_settings\settings.xml
the following setting was '1', setting it to '0' solved the problem

    <key>DisableAgentUpdates</key>
        <map>
        <key>Backup</key>
            <boolean>1</boolean>
        <key>Comment</key>
            <string>Encrypt IMs between this clients userbase</string>
        <key>Type</key>
            <string>Boolean</string>

ok the issue repeats, at one point i was not able to move in sl all of a sudden, relog caused the same problem, "DisableAgentUpdates" was set to '1' again, that kept me from loading the world, i set it back to '0' and it worked, the question is why is that? somehow this setting is "evil" and sets itself to '1' after some hours
